MAIL ART: LISTEN, 2020, 3cm x 3cm x 1cm, penny, acrylic box, inkjet image
Ever since I could remember I picked up "lucky" pennies on the street. During the pandemic lock down, my travel was constricted to just 2 routes, studio and grocery store. There were far less travelers and far less pennies. But when I did find them they felt special, an artifact from an other from the past. Looking up the year the penny was minted, the first image that popped up was almost always a car. The location and a print out of the car was sent to people.
